Dynastar Menace 98 Ski's (2021)

  • Sale
  • RRP £449.95

  • Dynastar hasn't had a freestyle / freeride ski in the range for a few years, so they came up with the Menace, 98mm underfoot, full sidewall construction and a new Springblade Wood Core. It's not overly stiff making it a playful and versatile ski. The new Springblade technology gives the ski its flex combined with great rebound giving lots of pop off jumps and boost out of turns.

Damn, what a good looking ski!

ABS sidewalls drive energy more efficiently to the edge of the ski for increased edge grip and dynamic ski control.
    • Tip and Tail Rocker - Tip and tail rocker with traditional camber underfoot eases turn initiation, adding playful maneuverability and float while retaining energy, shock-absorption, and edge grip for confident performance across all terrain and snow conditions.
    • Wood Core - Traditional WOOD CORE constructions offer a natural blend of energy, liveliness, and stability. Fiberglass laminates are lightweight and help to optimize the flex of the ski for enhanced snow feel, balance, and stability.
    • Springblade Construction - TBC

You can't ski without bindings. To a certain extent bindings are bindings and although there are some performance differences between them the biggest change is the materials. Cheaper bindings tend to be made with lots of plastic, where as more expensive ones have more metal in their construction. More metal makes the binding stronger, more durable and will last longer. If you change your ski's in the future you can then transfer the bindings to them, it's worth spending a little more on bindings if you can.

When selecting a binding choose a binding with a brake that is min 5mm wider than the waist of the ski.
