The Tallac is an incredibly versatile mitt. The Spandex shell has a waterproof Hipora insert to keep you dry and a removable fleece and softshell trigger mitt liner with Promaloft insulation to keep you warm. Mitt’s can make picking things up and adjusting buckles difficult, so remove the outer shell and use the trigger mitt liner. With it’s touch enabled index finger there’s no reason for your hands to get cold when adjusting buckles or using your smart phone.

PrimaLoft® is a brand of patented synthetic microfiber thermal insulation material that was developed for the US Army in the 1980s. They needed a water resistant, synthetic alternative to down. Microfibers trap body heat to make this the most efficient synthetic insulation available, with water-repellency that makes it warm even when wet.
