Stance have been making socks anything but ordinary since 2009. Born in California and heavily influenced by skate, surf, snow and action sports, they’ve built a reputation for making socks that look good and, more importantly, feel bloody good on your feet.

Their ski socks aren't just about looking the part either. They combine technical materials like Merino wool with clever cushioning, breathable mesh, arch support and reinforced heels and toes. Basically, all the clever stuff you want from a ski sock without making your feet feel like they've been wrapped in a duvet.

We've picked two of our favourites from the Stance snow range for Funky Yeti: Mid Merino for a little extra cushioning and comfort, and Ultralight Merino for those who prefer a thinner sock and a closer connection with their ski boots.

They're technical, they're comfortable and they're made by a company that clearly thinks socks deserve a bit more attention than they've traditionally been given. And let's be honest, your feet spend a lot of time in them, so why shouldn't they?
